As Purim approaches, excitement fills the air.

Since it's a time of joy, celebration, gifts and friendship, then why is it that so many of us have a memory of someone who is feeling sick and/or out of control and even ends up in the ER?
I haven't done a scientific research on this so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. It's probably a teenager or a young adult who did not start out his Purim with the intention of getting drunk and/or out of control. In a teenager's mind (and maybe some adults too {rightfully so!}) Purim Equals Fun! It's part of the festive spirit of the Purim holiday. Let's not change this! Lets keep Purim fun! But once the safety factor is missing it's no longer fun!
